And it’s certainly raised our eyebrows…

Whoopi Goldberg is a name everyone knows…
Her controversial comments about a wide range of topics almost always seem to make their way and trend on social media, leading people to boycott the show, The View, which she co-hosts with Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin.
Viewers have previously boycotted the popular show, due to Goldberg swearing on national television…
Goldberg was discussing the Tennessee school board’s controversial decision to ban Maus, a graphic novel about the Holocaust.
This led the comedian to say some very controversial statements, which wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
“Let’s be truthful about it because the Holocaust isn’t about race. No. It’s not about race!”
Reports further suggest that the comedian was constantly trying to prove her point that the Holocaust was about “man’s inhumanity to man” despite her co-hosts trying to protest against her surprising views.
“The minute you turn it into race, it goes down this alley. Let’s talk about it for what it is. It’s how people treat each other. It’s a problem,” she continued.
“It doesn’t matter if you are black or white because black, white, Jews, Italians – everybody eats each other,” she said.
But that didn’t hold her back from saying more…
Taking the book as a reference, Goldberg said: “I mean, it’s about the Holocaust, the killing of six million people, but that didn’t bother you?”
Soon after, a petition on Change.org was created, demanding Goldberg to “be fired from the daytime TV show for her repulsive verbiage and actions.”
The petition read: “Whoopi has made numerous remarks about race that have ruffled feathers. But her most recent comment attacking victims of the holocaust and the entire Jewish community are disgusting. Apologies are not enough when it comes to things like this, This can and will not be forgotten.”
And it’s not the first time Goldberg has got herself into a controversy…
Earlier this month, Goldberg said “a**” while talking about parenting on the daytime talk show. She said, “Sometimes you have to be an a** to be a parent.”
As per The Sun, the comedian’s usage of words disappointed the audience at home.
Fans have continued to express their outrage on social media since the controversial Holocaust comment…
One fan wrote: “@WhoopiGoldberg @TheView @JoyVBehar you should all be ashamed of the of everything that comes out of your s&$@ mouths. Hypocrite is all you are. Everyone if you!”
But then there was an odd one who felt she shouldn’t get fired…
“I hope Whoopi doesn’t get fired and put poor Omar the tent-maker out of work.” tweeted one fan.
But that’s not all, as her comments appeared to have a huge impact on viewers…
Amid the Twitter outrage, producers saw a dramatic decline in the show’s rating.
According to The Sun, the ratings for the week of 6 June to 10 June have declined to 2.28 million as compared to recent years, when 2.36 million viewers witnessed the show in 2021.
But fans are no longer sitting on the fence about the comedian getting fired…
On Twitter, many people have shared similar opinions, calling the actress “out of touch,” as one person said: “Whoopi Goldberg should be fired ASAP… A racist and man-hater.”
While another tweeted: “Whoopi Goldberg is out of touch with the real world… Enough already.”
And now, Goldberg has hit headlines once again…
This time for slamming racist fans of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and House of the Dragon.
Since the launch of both of the prequel series of JRR Tolkein and JRR Martin, fans have been going crazy for the spectacles, which are both full of mythical creatures and epic cinematography.
However, people have realized something new with the cast in the new series.
Many have criticized black actors in both series…
Actor Steve Toussiant, who plays Lord Corlys Velaryon in the House of the Dragon has faced racist abuse.
During a recent episode of The View, Goldberg addressed the situation…
And stated that both these worlds are fictional.
“I want to start by saying, these are not real, ok?
“The new Lord of the Rings series, The Rings of Power, and Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon are both massive hits, but they don’t exist in the real world. There are no dragons, there are no hobbits, you know that,” she said.
“And there are critics who are saying they were too woke by adding diverse characters.
“Are you telling me Black people can’t be fake people too? Is that what you’re telling me?” Goldberg continued.
As the audience was clapping in the studio, Goldberg questioned whether “they’ll be a protest” from fans.
Sunny Hostin showed her appreciation for Toussiant’s role in the series, before she joined her co-star, calling out the racism.
“All of y’all who have problems because there are Black hobbits… Get a job! Get a job! Go find yourself, because you are focused on the wrong stuff,” Goldberg added.
Toussiant responded to the racist abuse and said that people were fine when a white person was a criminal, pirate, and slave in the other shows, but as soon as they showcase them as noblemen people somehow have a problem with it.
And now, The View co-hosts have been left stunned after discovering something about Goldberg…
It all started on Monday’s episode when Goldberg mocked the discussion of bleached eyebrows.
She told viewers that stars like Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat are getting in on the trend of shaving or bleaching their eyebrows.
Goldberg then asked her co-hosts an interesting question…
“How do you feel about this no-brow look?” while she tilted her head and raised her brows at the camera.
And her co-hosts were equally surprised when they noticed Goldberg’s eyebrows…
Sara Haines was first and admitted she’s never noticed Goldberg’s lack of eyebrows throughout the 6 years they’ve sat next to each other on the show.
“I look right into your eyes and I did not know this,” she said.
Goldberg then revealed why she doesn’t have any eyebrows…
According to reports, Goldberg said her mom “removed them” after she started to get “bumps” on her face and so she kept up the practice because it’s what she’s used to.
“I don’t know my face with eyebrows unless I’m working,” she said.
Ana Navarro added: “I, too, was today-years-old when I noticed you had no eyebrows,” and confessed she didn’t notice when Goldberg brows were “painted on” for film roles.
Goldberg then demonstrated a tutorial for her clueless co-hosts, showing plenty of grace and patience as she removed her glasses…
“What you can see on my face is, you know where they went. You know where they are, right? You see, and so when you look at me, your eye sees eyebrows where there are none,” she said.
What do you think?
