Who doesn’t love J-Lo? Not only is she a powerhouse of a musician, actress, and dancer, but she’s also an absolutely amazing style icon. Her current style is to die for, but her style in the 90s? It slays me. Her style had everything you could hope for from an icon. From her undying love of the color white to the absolute chokehold that pleather pants had on her, J-Lo’s style was undeniable, but affordable? Not so much.
Or is it?
I’ve taken the liberty of scouring Amazon to find items that really match J-Lo’s classic style, but also match her Jenny on the Block budget so maybe it’ll match your budget, too. From her iconic White Party look to her classic workout ’fit, this list has got all of the best Jennifer Lopez, 90s styles for your purchasing pleasure. Crank up the J-Lo classics and enjoy browsing!
J-Lo’s Country Feel
J-Lo was never afraid of mixing it up and trying to accessorize with something exciting and fun like this excellent cowboy hat. She rocked these with some great, cream-colored, leather pants and it was just the ultimate look. Laid back, but still somehow effortlessly chic.
The Famous White Party ’Fit
Diddy’s White Party brought out the best in style, and J-Lo wasn’t exempt from that. Out of all of her amazing looks, her White Party look is my favorite. It was cool and hip and unapologetically J-Lo. Very gender fluid and fun — my favorite J-Lo vibe.
Accessorize It
You can’t have the J-Lo White Party look without also having the J-Lo White Party bandana; it made the whole outfit! Definitely, a 90s look to be remembered. I recommend folding it up the way Jennifer did, but you can also do the classic pullover look.
The Jenny Hoops
Hoops really bring together any J-Lo look and these hoops are some of the best that I’ve found. They remind me of the White Party look, but they also just give Jenny from the Block vibes with anything in my closet. Okay… Mostly anything.
Rock the Crop
If there’s one thing I know about J-Lo’s classic fashion, it’s that she loved a good crop. This white top is the closest I could find to the sort of bandeau-style crop top she would wear at events or on stage during one of her shows.
You Can’t Skip the Belt
You just can’t! If you’re going to recreate the White Party look you’ve got to have this belt. And the best thing is that you can reuse it for other J-Lo looks because she wasn’t afraid to take on a rhinestone accent, let me tell you.
Your Wrist Is Going to Love This Bracelet
This bracelet is so gorgeous and it looks like a million bucks, but it doesn’t cost even a fraction of that! It goes with all sorts of outfits. It’s the best way to accent your outfit in J-Lo fashion and finishes the White Party look perfectly.
The Sporty Side of Jenny
One of my favorite classic Jennifer outfits is her sporty outfit with her classic Adidas jogging pants and her fun sports bra. It’s comfortable and fashionable and can go from onstage dancing and rocking it out to a night of drinking and eating street slices.
The Pants to Match
These pants go with the sports bra to complete the look so you can look like the coolest version of yourself, or the coolest version of J-Lo, whichever you like better. I’m partial to the J-Lo version, myself, but that’s obviously not a big surprise.
Pair These with the Cowboy Hat
If you’re looking to get a true blue Lopez Look, these pants should be paired with the cowboy hat from the top of the list. She really made a statement with the leather pants/cowboy hat combo and I’m still living for it. The fun of her fashion!
The Casual Blazer
There were several times that J-Lo rocked the casual blazer, even though she’s not quite the 9-5 woman, and this one isn’t quite the same, but it’s similar enough to all the ones I’ve seen her in that it’s the best option out there for getting your J-Lo on.
Your New Favorite Skirt
This skirt is sort of jersey-knit, slinky-but-sturdy and it’ll go with just about anything in your closet. If I remember correctly, and I know I do, J-Lo paired a skirt similar to this with a fabulous cropped top for a party look, but not a look that was too serious or upscale.
The Aforementioned Crop Top
This cropped tee is really such a hot look whether you’re trying to channel your inner J-Lo or not, but it’s especially great for the J-Lo fits in your closet. There’s something simple but exciting about it that really leans into the gender fluid, hip-hop, 90s look.
Such a Slinky Number
This dress is a simple, slinky look that feels like butter when you pull it on. I might not know a ton about Jennifer Lopez, but what I do know is that she used to love the color white and would wear it anytime she got the chance and she would’ve worn this one, too.
The White Party Pumps
They don’t quite make shoes the way they used to, but these pumps are as close as I could get to the J-Lo White Party shoes. They’ve got a satin finish and the silver color comes across so bright and beautiful without being glittery or overpowering.
Glitz and Glamor Shoes
There are times that you do want sparkling glitter and silver color that feels slightly overpowering. When that occasion arises, these are the heels you’ve got to bring on deck. They’re comfortable, cute, and absolutely look like something Jenny from the Block would rock.
Cool Comfort
Classic Jennifer Lopez was all about cool comfort. She wasn’t going to go out in public just to be seen and be photographed and that meant she was willing to wear what made her comfortable, even if it wasn’t glitzy. These shoes give me that J-Lo look and they give ultimate comfort.
Jenny from the Block
These pants are the ultimate Jenny from the Block look. They look just like pants I saw J-Lo wear in several music videos and there are countless paparazzi photos out there of her in pants just like these. And I don’t blame her for wearing them all the time; they’re so comfy!
Casual Glamor
There’s something about this shirt that reads as “casual glamor” to me. It’s just something about the cowl neck, I think. This was the shirt on everyone’s mind during the early aughts, and, honestly? It’s a shirt that’s still on my mind any time I think of party ’fits.
The Best J-Lo Set
I don’t know if you’ve seen the picture, but there’s a gorgeous shot of Jennifer rocking a gorgeous red set that looks so much like this one. It looks comfortable, casual, and still incredibly sexy. It’s a great option for parties and fancy events.
The Sickest Leather Pants
These pants remind me of the best of the 90s; the leather-everything! The chokehold that leather pants had on us back then… Astounding! And J-Lo certainly wasn’t exempt from that. She loved her leather pants and these are the most similar pair I could find to the pants I saw J-Lo in.
Bring Back the Belly Chain
Believe it or not, the belly chain isn’t a new look. J-Lo loved the belly chain long before this new wave, and boy did she look cool! Grab this chain and embrace the fun and excitement of belly jewelry you can wear even if you’re not pierced.
You Can’t Forget the Track Suit!
Tracksuits were, unfortunately, incredibly popular in the 90s and the early aughts, but no one wore them as often, or as well, as Jennifer Lopez. This pink tracksuit is the closest I could get to my favorite of her tracksuits; it’s not short-sleeved, but it checks all the other boxes.
The Ultimate J-Lo Hat
The newsboy cap is such a great accessory, y’all, and I think we should all thank J-Lo for paving the way for us with it. It can cover up a multitude of hair sins, bring a look together, finish up an outfit, or even be the inspiration for one.
Not It, But Close
This isn’t the black J-Lo dress, but it’s as close as I could get, and it’s far more affordable than her dress likely was. You can still get the sexy, slinky, sheer look, just not as sheer as J-Lo’s was. It’s great for parties and red carpets alike!
The Ultimate Boot
This boot is perfect for all seasons and all sorts of weather. It goes with just about anything and it’s such a simple way to bring the J-Lo look into your life. She loved to rock these over a cute pair of boot cuts with a newsboy cap to top it off.
The Best Sunglasses
If you’re looking to accessorize the J-Lo way; look no further! These sunglasses give the J-Lo vibe and I’m pretty sure she wore aviators just like these with all sorts of outfits she wore in all sorts of places. They’re simple but fashionable and fun to wear.
Let Everyone Know Where Your Heart Lies
Still Jenny from the Block, y’all! Even if your name’s not Jenny and you’re not from the Block. This nameplate necklace is 90s fashion and is such a fun way to accessorize your outfit to bring it from “sort of J-Lo,” over the top into “incredible”.
The Softer Side of Jennifer
It’s rare that you saw classic J-Lo looks that were softer and more girly looking, but when you did they were absolutely on point. This comfy, lavender sweater is one of my favorite of Jennifer’s soft looks. Complete it with the silk pants listed below for the full look.
The Silkiest of Pants
These silky pants feel incredible. Pulling them on feels like wrapping yourself in decadence and I, sadly, cannot wear them in my home because I’ve got cats and cats ruin everything. But these do make great, light, airy pants for a spring or summer easy wear look.
Rock the White Jean
White jeans aren’t an exclusively J-Lo item, but they were definitely a staple in her closet and in the closet of most other 90s/early aughts entertainers. Jennifer paired these with chunky sweaters, white tank tops, cropped tops, and pretty much anything else. And the straight cut allows you to pull a boot over them easily.
Embrace the Chunk
A beautiful, chunky sweater. What’s better? They’re just so versatile and comfy and you can style them up or down in a snap. J-Lo was a fan of the chunky sweater, and pale/white colors were absolutely part of the chosen color palate for the pop queen.
Slinky, but Make It Black
Classic J-Lo loved a good slinky, cowl neck dress, and I saw her in both a white one and a black one and this black one is right on the money. It looks just like something that you could wear clubbing, on a red carpet, on a date, or out for drinks with friends.
One of the Best
I am in love with J-Lo’s feather-trimmed suit moment. I couldn’t find anything that quite compared, but this cropped, feather-trimmed top would definitely be J-Lo approved and could go with the black capris she wore to create an outfit pretty dang close to the one she rocked.
Black Capris for Every Occasion
You never know when you’re going to need a good pair of black capri pants and J-Lo wasn’t afraid to style them for all sorts of occasions. My favorite way she wore these was with her feather-trimmed suit jacket, but you could definitely pair them with a cropped tee or chunky sweater, too.
Heels for Days
These heels give silhouette for days. They give sexy for days. They’re classic J-Lo all over and I love pairing them with all sorts of things. It’s fun to try to see what all you can pair them with, it’s a very 2000s thing to do.
A Peekaboo Dress
J-Lo had a gorgeous dress that was white and gorgeous and tied up the sides and it gave a little peek without going too overboard. This dress is pretty similar to that one, but it’s definitely just as tight and attractive. Pair with those black heels above for a killer ’fit.
